Over the years I've watched most of the episodes and there's no doubt that there are some classics in there, but if I were to rank the Trek series then it's TOS and DS9 first, with TNG sitting somewherein the middle of the second tier... though still above Voyager . In part this is due to me being old enough to have watched TNG during its original run, and that means I sat through the awfulness of the first season week by interminable week. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

There's plenty of all three in Star Wars The Old Republic . The Good I've played a Bounty Hunter before, but never previously went further than Dromund Kaas. This time around I've enjoyed the class a lot more while following the three rules I set for this character. 1. Always follow through on a job. 2. If the target is wanted dead or alive, dead is better. 3. If possible, kill the client as well. This has led me to take some really mean spirited options that I've passed up on in the past and I've lost count of the number of times a conversation scene has ended with a blaster shot. It's not dissimilar to my experience on the Sith Warrior, except where she chews the scenery and goes all in on being Evil with a capital E, the Bounty Hunter is much more businesslike and her dry, understated ruthlessness just makes the mayhem more entertaining. Kill 10 rats... and boars... and wolves... and...

Welcome to the Trollshaws. While you're here you should kill some animals. In fact you should kill ALL the animals. LOTRO isn't averse to 'Kill 10 Rats' quests at the best of times, but the ride to Rivendell really takes that to the next level. Since I'm not, for now, being sidetracked by other quests in the region I've only been picking up those which are automatically offered after killing the first of a particular mob type. I've seen this type of quest before, a couple of times in the Lone Lands and the North Downs, but in the Trollshaws there's one attached to each and every animal type you encounter, and the cumulative effect is unintentionally funny as they pile up in the quest log. This isn't my first trip to Rivendell, not quite. Years ago on a whim I tried to ride down to Isengard on a level 20 character – a memorable journey during which I discovered that you can actually die in LOTRO from fall damage if you fall far enough, ...
