A light snack at the all you can eat buffet

There's been a +25% XP event running this weekend in LOTRO, so after 2 hours I'm already level 10.

I tend to avoid bonus XP events, as I often find they throw the levelling curve out of sync, especially early on when levels already come quickly. So here I go tiptoing through the intro and the early quests in Ered Luin, trying not to kill any more mobs than I need for quest completion.

Which goes somewhat against my LOTRO instincts. The slayer deeds in each zone do encourage a kill-on-sight policy and the low numbers required for those deeds in Ered Luin make those kills all the more tempting.
